Dear Grace,
You hung out with the Nierengartens for a long weekend while Daddy and I did some major Spring cleaning. We have been very busy getting our condo ready to sell. It's amazing how much we can get done while you're away playing with family. Our place has never looked so decluttered and clean. Hopefully it will be on the market this week and we will begin the annoying process of showing our place. Enjoy!
Love, Mommy
It's always fun receiving pictures of you from the Grandparents. You had a blast running around their backyard while they planted flowers.
We filled the Nierengarten's empty van 3 times and dropped things off in the Thompson's basement over the weekend. We were able to meet up with you for dinner Saturday night. You loved the train restaurant in Schererville. Thanks to the El just outside our place, you are currently in love with "choo choos" aka trains.
You took a quick trip out to the cottage with Grammie Mo and Uncle Matt.
All of this took place the weekend of the NATO Conference. Chicago was the first place it's ever been held in the U.S. outside Washington D.C. The city was a ghost town. You wouldn't believe how empty it was, except for the police at every corner. Daddy took this picture while we were walking down Ohio St. It must have been someone important coming off the express way.
