Labor Day Weekend

Dear Grace,

We had a productive, yet very fun Labor Day weekend. Friday night started with a wonderful date night for Daddy and me thanks to Grammie Mo and Grandpa Den keeping you overnight! Both sets of Grandparents helped out a lot over the weekend. We've been able to get SO much done around the house already thanks to them! I'm afraid to think where we would be right now without them, especially since I'm currently going through the crazy nesting phase.

We went on our first annual apple picking adventure on Saturday. Daddy, me, you, Aunt Susan, Uncle Matthew, Grandma and Papa, Grammie and Grandpa, and Uncle Matt all went to Garwood Orchard in LaPorte, IN and then to lunch at Redamaks in New Buffalo, MI.

Sunday night we joined Aunt Libbie and Uncle Matt at Aunt Jeryl's house for a pizza pool party. Cousin Erik's old Thomas the Tank Engine train set was pulled out for you and Aspen. You two couldn't get enough of playing with the 'choo choo' and each other. Enjoy!

Love, Mommy
Tractor ride out to the apple trees...
I'm pretty sure you had an apple in your hand or mouth the entire time.

Aunt Susan and Uncle Matt taught you how much fun it can be to hold hands in a parking lot. (major rule for a toddler)
